About Badminton Asia
Badminton Asia is the governing body of the badminton sport in Asia under the flagship of Badminton World Federation (BWF).

BADMINTON ASIA MAJOR EVENTS
Badminton Asia Team/
Mixed Team Championship
Formerly known as Badminton Asia Men’s & Women’s Team Championships is a team event held biennially alternating with the Mixed Team Championships.
Currently this team championships serves as qualification for the BWF World Team Championships happening on the same year
This Mixed Team Championships was founded in year 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and currently serves as a qualification for BWF World Mixed Team Championships happening in the same year.
Badminton Asia Championships
Formerly known as Asian Badminton Championships is a historical event held annually in order to crown the best badminton players in the continent of Asia.
This event is often known to be one of the top badminton events due to it’s competitiveness amongst the top ASIAN players

Dubai will be seen hosting the prestigious Badminton Asia Championships from 2023 onwards. This latest development came to light after Badminton Asia inked a five-year deal with leading Dubai-based sports management and consulting company, Beyond Boundaries, to conduct Badminton Asia Championships with Dubai as the venue for the next five years.
The deal signed on 22nd June 2022 in Singapore, ahead of World Badminton Day is a strong indication of Badminton Asia’s intentions to conduct international tournaments in one of the Middle East’s fastest-growing sports hub – Dubai.
